  1. Boris Godunov: This is the most famous recording ever to come from Russia. It is a star studded performance from , led by the greatest Russian bass Alexander Pirogov. I purchased this recording on 4 LPs in the early sixties and again on 3 CDs Arlechino ARL/5(8).
